Successes and Accomplishments

State Rep

Served in the 2010-2012 session as your Representative for Hollis - Brookline - Mason and missed only one session of the House due to a death in the family.  Re-elected to represent Hollis in 2012 and am still serving in that capacity today.  Have been serving on the Municipal and County Government Committee to protect your property rights, personal freedoms.  I chaired that committee in 2014-2016 and anticipate being re-appointed as chair in 2017.  Have always voted to ensure no tax or cost increases were passed down to towns or residents. Have served on the Hillsborough County Delegation since 2010 and am a watchdog to ensure no tax increased passed down from County to the Town.

Beltronics, Inc.

Established Belanger's Electronics, incorporated as Beltronics, in 1968 and operated it as a very successful business until it's sale to employees in 2006.


Represented Hollis on the Board of Directors of the Souhegan Valley Transportation Collaborative (SVTC) which provides affordable bus transportation to health care appointments and some shopping with door to door pick-up and delivery for Hollis, Brookline, Amherst and Milford residents five days per week.

Candidates Forum

Started Candidate's forums in Hollis.  Currently hosted by the Hollis-Brookline Rotary Club.

Rotary Club

12 years of perfect attendance in Rotary and President of the H-B Rotary Club for one year.  Left due to conflict with Rotary meetings and Legislative duties.  Paul Harris Fellow.

Boy Scouts

Took leadership as scoutmaster when Troop 12 was on the verge of disbanding from lack on parental interest. 

Memorial Day

Organize and plan the Town Memorial Day activities and have done so for over 24 years.

5 member BOS

Circulated a town-wide petition to get a 5 member v/s 3 member Board of Selectmen (BOS) to the voters.  This initiative was successful.
